This is a wedding that we really loved to photograph! The day was organized in a really simple and nice way, with minimal travel times and lovely locations for a wedding in Langhe region.

The main venue was the Agriturismo La Torricella, a beautiful, romantic farmstay and winery which also offers a great restaurant service, rooms and flats.

In our opinion, this would be the perfect scenery for a destination wedding in Italy to be remembered!

However, this time the happy couple was coming from much closer by: Linda and Alessandro are dear friends of ours (the bride Linda was Valerio’s high school classmate!).

It’s always lovely for us to photograph friends’ weddings, and we actually aim at building the same relaxed and easygoing relationship with any of our clients: we think that it is much nicer to spend such an important day with friends – freshly made as they may be – rather than having an exceedingly strict professional attitude.

Linda and Alessandro made the excellent choice of having their ceremony in the village of Monforte d’Alba, which is very close to La Torricella: here, they used the Auditorium Horszowski, a gorgeous open air space that is also sometimes used for live music events.

Music was at the forefront on this wedding day as well, since Alessandro plays the contrabass in the prestigious RAI (Italian state tv) orchestra, so many of his friends are talented musicians, how cool is that!

Another highlight of the day was the couple photo session: Linda and Alessandro only managed to find time for it a bit later than expected, so the sun was already down. That was not a problem at all! Instead, we were very happy to have a unique and beautiful dusk atmosphere for the photos.
